The Nemedian War has been over for three years and King Conan has secured his place on the Aquilonian throne, but in the east Turan is on the rise, spreading out from the western shores of the Vilayet Sea, across the steppes and deserts.
Now, as the Turanian armies approach the banks of the River Styx, the armies of Stygia prepare to respond and the disparate city states of Shem may be caught in the middle.
Fearing the looming threat of foreign domination, more and more desperate Shemites are turning to an ancient cult that seeks to summon a giant serpent- who some say is Set or one of his avatars- to consume the enemies of Shem.
